Chart Formatting - Fill above and below two seperate non-intersecting lines

I have an XY (Scatter chart) graphing two series. The result is the series 2 is higher than series 1 in the chart ... the lines do not cross.
Is it possible, to fill in all the area below the lower line (series 1), all the area above ... in a different colour ... above the upper line (series 2) and thus leaving the area between the two lines without any fill.
I have played with the area charts, but they don't provide the empty fill between the two lines. (or at least I couldn't figure it out)
