I copied a chart to a new workbook. I changed the range of the chart. After re-opening the workbook I get this message that data is linked and if I want to update.

How can I un-link the new workbook with the original workbook?

Choose Insert|Name|Define from the menu. Select each name and delete any which refer to your original workbook.

If that doesn't remove the Links, choose Edit|Links, select the file, click Change Source and browse for your current workbook.
