For all the CHAR values from 129 onwards I am getting a question mark (?) returned rather than the character set value.

Is there a setting that has stopped this working?

TIA

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
mikeymay, Good afternoon.

It usually works with all of your computer's fonts.

Do you using some special type of font?

I have installed some for some clients work.

Is there a way of reverting back to the standard font?

Installing new fonts to do special jobs has no problem at all.

If you run a test using the CALIBRI font, for example, does it also have the same problem?

Have you changed the default font to be used in new spreadsheets in the excel options tab?
If you have not changed anything, when you create new worksheets they will usually open with the default CALIBRI font.

Still have an issue with this.

I have uninstalled Office 365 and installed again with no luck.

Using Excel Online with my 365 subscription does work though.

I'm assuming it's a local setting but I haven;t got a clue what it could be......can anyone help?
