Changing the data source range for a PivotTable

Hi.

I use PivotTables to sum and analyse client's bank account details, basically a list of payments.

Pre-Excel 2007, I could amend the size of the data range of a pivottable to take into account the extra or fewer transactions in this year over last year by (I think) right-clicking the table, going back into the wizard and then extending or reducing the data range.

I don't seem to be able to find how to do this in Excel 2007 and am currently having to completely recreate the PivotTable every time.

Does anyone know how I can just alter the depth of the data range for an existing PivotTable please ?

Many thanks

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi,
Have you tried using a dynamic named range instead of manually adjusting the data source? (or even a static named range - then if you adjust the definition of the name the pivot table data should update too).

Thanks guys.

The find on Google was brilliant.

Don't you just love it when Microsoft "improves" things !!
