How do I not get 8,000 emails anyone someone replies to the same thread I replied to? Is there a way to set it to just show replies to me, or none even?

You can set it to no replies somehow in the User CP.

Although I think I'm going to turn it back on, the semi spam abuse is not as annoying as to not knowing where the heck that thread you wrote on went.

Go to User CP -> Edit Options

Thanks. Another option would be, just show replies to questions I ask.

Otherwise, I could answer a question, and then get 10 emails about people who also answered it.

It makes me regret answering questions.

As Admin, I'd be massively bombarded by emails for every q I posted to.
So what I've done (and you can too) - set your default option to no email.
When you post a question tho - if you scroll down, you'll see the various email options: none, instant, daily, weekly.
