Changing Sort Default from "Manual" to "Ascending"

How do you change the default value in "More Sort Options"from "Manual" to "Ascending" ? I am trying to use a custom list in a PowerPivot Table and every time I click on the different choices in my slicer the sort option goes back to "Manual" and I have to change it back to"Ascending" for the custom list to work in my PowerPivot Table

I'd suggest skipping the custom list approach and using the Sort By Column feature. It's briefly illustrated at the end of this post:
