I can't seem to change my pivot table header name. What I usually do to do that is:

1. Click within the Pivot Table
2. Go to Analyze>Active Field Box>Change the name and;
3. Press Enter

I also tried:
1. Click within the column where I want the header to be changed.
2. Right click>Value Field Settings>Edit the name under Custom Name field.

Sadly, both methods did not work. Prior to doing the steps above, I just simply changed the value field from "Count" to "Sum".
<tbody>
Row Labels
Sum of Jan-16
Sum of Feb-16

NSW 1
$123,220
$161,085

NSW 2
$35,605
$39,754

NSW 3
$122,717
$148,790

NSW 4
$166,746
$160,658

QLD
$53,592
$51,559

VIC
$26,552
$26,576

Grand Total
$528,431
$588,421

</tbody>
What I want to do is change the column header "Sum of Jan-16" to just "Jan-16".

Note: I am using MS Excel 2016

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Was there a dialog box that says field name already exists?

If so, usually I'd just add a space in front or behind "Jan-16" in the pivot table.
