Hi,

On my master file I have the following link: ='Server\...\Year 2013\Data 1307\[0713 Support File.xlsx}Data'!$B$2 and it produces a number for where it is linking to. In this case we will say 1.

I have multiple (about 60) supporting files that link into the master file and I have to change the dates each month. In the above case, I would need to change 0713 into 0813 and 1307 into 1308.

Is there a way, preferably through formulas, that I can automatically change the date for all 50 files at once rather than using edit links where I would have to change them one at a time?

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
