Hello,

Using Pivot Table, I added a field to the "Values" field in order to give me a sum of the numbers. The title automatically changes to "Total", I am needing it to show "Total Invoice to OOM Delta". Is there a way to do this? I tried the Active Field option, but that's not working for some reason.

The cell is titled "Total Invoice to OOM Delta" in my data tab. On the pivot table, when I drag that field into the "Values" area for "Sum of Total" in Field List, it automatically changes the heading to Total. I'm wanting it to keep it's original title and not "Total".

In Excel 2010 I get Sum of Total Invoice to OOM Delta2. Maybe you need to widen the column, although that was automatic for me.

That's so strange that mine isn't. Did you drag the "Sum of Total Invoice to OOM Delta" into the Values area? From the values area, I right clicked and clicked Value Field Settings and selected Sum. With that formula, I think it just automatically changed my heading to Total

Here's a picture of what I did. I've created this pivot table many times, but the same thing occurs. I think it's a format Excel has.

As I said I can't reproduce what you are seeing, sorry. For me what appears in the Task Pane is what appears in the Pivot Table.
