Hi there,

I'm trying to update the original data input with new data. Having carried this out by changing the data source I get the following message 'The key didn't match any rows in the table'. The data structure is the same between the two datasets, i.e. the column headings are the same and in the same place, however the new data has 500+ more rows and I assumed it would overwrite the existing dataset.

Can this be solved as I'm trying to avoid creating a new PBI and having to re-do the charts, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards

Ben

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
Could you explain what are you really doing there?
If you want to change source data edit Source step and change the path to the second file
or post a link to the shared .pbix file and both source files then explain what you want to achieve because your description is not clear.
