I have data, a pivot table, and associated pivot chart sheet originally created in 2007 saved in a xlsm file. Error and empty values in the pivot table are set to show as "#N/A" so don't plot in the chart. There's also some code which makes various table field selections and creates hard-coded copies of the chart by copying the chart sheet to a new workbook and back.
In 2007 the hard-coded chart series contained "#N/A" for each error or empty value. Running the same code, or indeed manually copying a pivot chart sheet to a new workbook, in 2013 replaces each series value which is "#N/A" in 2007, with "0" and this consequently plots on the chart.
The reason for creating hard-coded chart sheets is for pivot-chart illiterate end users, these charts being too numerous to edit manually in a weekly output.
Any ideas for a quick fix?
