I have the deafult font for my spreadsheets set in File>Options>General to Arial, size 11.

Whenever I enter a number it is formatted as Arial size 11.

But when use the Number section of the Toolbar to format that number as 'Currency', I get the correct currency symbol (£ in my case), two decimal places (good), and ,000 separators (also good). However, the font gets changed to MS Sans Serif.

Is there a way to permanently change the default fonts associated with each number format style, and have this remembered for each new spreadsheet?

I can see how to adjust the font for a given number format, but when I set up a new spreadsheet, I don't want my Arial numbers changed to MS Sans serif whenever I format the number a currency.

Any suggestions gratefully received.
