I'm creating a Chart via a Pivot Table. The data it's pulling from has dates in the headings Jan 23 and Feb 23 and Mar 23 and so on. These are being displayed on the Pivot Chart as Sum Of Jan 23 etc. which then transfers to the Chart. I need these to display simply as Jan 23. How do I change this?

Thanks in advance

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
You can just overtype the dates in your pivot table. The only proviso is that you can't use a field name that already exists. So "Jan 23" can't be used as it exists in the source data.

The workaround is, rather than type "Jan 23" you can type "Jan 23 " with a space at the end. An invisible change to the naked eye, but will let you continue.
