Change Header & Footer in MS Word

Hi,

Even though its an excel forum, I would like to ask a question regarding word. Need a code which can the change the header and footer every month where footer contains page number, months name with year.

If this is not possible inthis forum pls suggest me some other source.

Hi Mrinal,

You can control the date part with a DATE, SAVEDATE, CREATEDATE or PRINTDATE field, coded as:
{DATE \@ "MMMM YYYY"}
{SAVEDATE\@ "MMMM YYYY"}
{CREATEDATE \@ "MMMM YYYY"}
or
{PRINTDATE \@ "MMMM YYYY"}
respectively.

See Word's Help file fore more details.

Note: The field brace pairs (ie '{ }') for the above example are created via Ctrl-F9 - you can't simply type them or copy & paste them from this message. Alternatively, you can insert the fields via Insert|Field.

As for the page #, that can be sone via a simple Page field.
