Change email in USer Profile

When I edit my email address in my profile, and click submit, and review my profile to see that it updated, I notice that my change was no effected. I am only changing the email address - am I doing something wrong?

That was it. I was not getting any error message when I tried to edit without including my password - just a "profile updated" message

Thanks for the help on this and the Macro error
