Can I change the date format inserted by Ctrl+; shortcut to my preference? It always appear as 03/08/2018 or 3-08-2018 but I wanted 3-Aug-2018.

Formatting the cell to the date format don't suit my needs as I am using the shortcut to insert date into a cell with words. Basically I am recording minutes and this shortcut is a god sent. My american counterpart read the date as March 8 when I meant 3 Aug. 3-Aug-2018 is clearer. Ctrl+Shift+# also won't work in my situation.

Thanks a lot!
