Change colour if condition is met

Hi, would anyone be able to tell me how to do the following:

If cell L11 is more than or equal to 20, I'd like cell G8 to be green.
If L11 is not more than or equal to 20, I'd like G8 to be grey.

I can use the '=if' function to change text in G8 if L11's condition is met, but cannot figure out how to change the colour.

Anyone know how to do this?

Welcome to the board.

That's what you can do with Conditional Formatting on the Home Tab
Select G8, and click Conditional Formatting - New Rule - Use a Formula to determine..
Enter the formula
=$L$11>=20
Click the Format button, and apply your desired format
Click OK
Click OK
