Hello,
please i need your help

I want to auto change cell text based on the color of another cell

depending on a list of names

example:

if cell A1 filled with red color then cell B1 will have Apple text
if cell A2 filled with orange color then cell B2 will have orange text
if cell A3 filled with yellow color then cell B3 will have Banana text

Thank you

No formula for that.
Can do it with VBA.

If the color is not manually applied but with conditional formatting - then you should use the same condition for the text.

Actually the correct approach IMO would be to put the text, than use conditional formatting to apply the color based on the text.
