I have some experience in VBA, but not much in using VBA in Access from Excel. I have a worksheet called "Control" that has a filepath in cell A5 for a .mdb database and a filepath in cell A6 for a .accdb database. I get a new .mdb database every month and it is used in a linked table in the .accdb database. Is there a way to have a macro in my excel workbook open up the .accdb database and update the link with the new database from the month?

I'm having trouble in starting to be able to work between access and excel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
you shouldnt need to update any links.
get a new db,
save it and overwrite the old one,
all links are the same and unbroken.
