Hi all,

I am looking for a formula to highlight rows C:K if column H is blank?

I have the following which partially works, not the whole range

=H13<>""

Any help appreciated

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Since you want EVERY column to look at the value in column H, you need to lock the column reference down like this:
=$H13<>""

So, if you select all the columns you want to apply it to first, and then enter the formula like I show above, it should work.

Also, if you want the highlight when the col H value is BLANK, change the rule to:

=$H13=""

Good catch. I was so focused on the range reference, I didn't look close enough to verify the logic if the formula!

Proving, once again, that, sometimes two Joe's are better than one, and historically we know it works both ways!:)
