Certification

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
I've never done any certifications but then my job is not really about Excel - it's just one of the tools I use, and I'm not really a developer.
Having said that, I would imagine that at interview or tender stage, the more relevant certifications you have, the better. Which is the best certificate for you, depends on what you do - there's a lot of info here.
The Excel MVP award is something you have to get nominated for, generally by other MVPs, so there's nothing specific you can do for that other than to help out in Newsgroups and other forums like this one really.
