Hi !

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have provided an image, so illustrate what I mean.

As you will be able to see I have a column labelled PM - this column has the initials of project managers. When I enter the initials it will automatically fill in a color. This has been done by setting up a rule on "conditional formatting" so that whenever CMS is typed into the PM column it turns orange etc.

I am also wanting the Job no column to automatically change color, based on the color in the PM column. However I am having trouble doing this, as the there are no specific job numbers that are dedicated for each project manager - so I can't set up a condition for it (as far as I am aware, I could be wrong).

Can anyone please help.

Thanks,
Ollivia :)

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
if you look at the CF, you can adjust the formatting to extend across, just anchor the column with a $ and remove any $ that point to row =$A7

Thanks for answering. Please see the picture that includes the CF - would I place it at the end / at the start and how would it look?
