I am trying to create an IF statement that reads "Valid" if the current time is between the hours of 10AM and 3PM.

To do this my idea was to have an isolated cell which contains a formula which displays exclusively the current time that can then be referenced in said IF statement.

However, I cannot find a way to get the current time without referencing a date to go with it. I have tried to use the NOW function but that includes the date which I do not want.

Is it possible to do this in excel? I thought it would be easy but I'm having trouble finding any resources to point me in the right direction.

Thank you

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Glad we could help & thanks for the feedback.
