Cell Reference Truncating Text

Hi everyone,

I am using a cell reference to reference text in another workbook. When I use the cell reference, the text that the reference returns is truncated. However, if I were to copy and paste the text, it works just fine.


I do not think this has anything to do with character limits of a cell (as I mentioned, the original/referenced cell is not truncated. I have tried TRIM and a few other random formulas to try and get the full text to be returned but so far no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the cell wide enough to visually accomodate the length of the text?

yes, this is not dependent on width or height of cell

and it also doesn't truncate when I make the reference fixed ($)
