Hey all,

I hope you're all well?

I have a quick question that you'll find very easy I'm sure. I have a VLOOKUP with a MATCH formula that is grabbing data from a separate sheet based on a drop-down list.

Now the issue I'm facing is the data it's coming back which is both a NUMBER or a PERCENTAGE. I can't seem to get the cell formatting to reply with the number then automatically change to a % when a percentage KPI is clicked from the drop down

Example of KPI's in the drop-down
- Footfall (NUMBER)
- KP1 % Target (PERCENTAGE)

Seems to be only returning the number for all or the percentage for all

Strange

Cheers
Steve

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Hi, is there a way to logically determine which are percentages and which are numbers. For example do (or can) all the percentages have the "%" symbol in the dropdown text? Or maybe all the %'s are less than or equal to 1 and all the numbers are greater than 1?

Can you also post your current formula?
