Hi folks,

I'm trying to = a cell fill color from one page in a workbook to another. I've tried to (=) the cell, but I don't get a color. Anybody know the right way to do it? Thank you very much for a reply!

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
copy the cell, paste special "paste formats"
you can access the spaste special with the mouse right click

You would need pastespecial or code for that. Something like

Code:
Sub copycolor()
ActiveSheet.Range("A1").Interior.ColorIndex = Sheets("home").Range("A1").Interior.ColorIndex
End Sub
