Hi,
I had an old template with a formula that doesn't seem to exist in Excel 2016.

=CashFlowForecast($B$3,J$6,$F12,$H12,$G12,$E12,'Cash Curves'!$A$2:$E$403,$D12)-SUM($H12:I12)

This formula allowed me to cash flow my budget by date and then by type (front-loaded, back-end loaded, linear and S-Curve) by entering a letter in the Cash Curves column.

I want to cash flow my remaing budget each month, by month and type.

thanks

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
At first glance it sounds rather as UDF (User Defined Function) or some add-in function, than a built-in one.
Is the file format xls? And have you allowed excel to execute dode in this file (macro security settings - medium level is suggested - "ask before")
Another possibility: are you using a program or open the workbook within webbrowser window?
