D1=5
D2=4
D3=9
D4=Sum(d1:d3)

But I want d4 instead of showing "18", I want D4 to show "8" and C4 to show the "1"...

But I want this formula for numbers as large as 1,000,000.00

So I have 9 individual cells from A:I across. And when ever the number is large enough I want it to "carry over" the tens.

So basically it will look as though the math was being done on paper.

Thanks

No...that question is asking how to separate a whole number into places in different cells.
I.e the sum of 4 cells is "1250.50" and having that number be put into 6 individual cells based on their number place.

This question is asking how to add numbers in a range of cells and have the number carry over to the cell on the left, just as if you were doing addition on a piece of paper.....

Not sure if you are confused, or if i didnt explain it properly.
