Hello,

I know there are many third party software choices that allow you to capture frames of live video as a picture and store the picture in Access. Does anyone know if Access 2000 can do this as a stand alone?

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Hi Ziggy,

Thanks for the info. However, I would like to take your example one step further  In addition to simply storing a "pre-taken" photo in a folder and referencing it, I would like to have Access associated with my logitec camera so that I can "snap" a photo from the live video feed, then save that in the folder like you referenced. Is that possible?

well, I'll have to think about that some more, take for example everytime you save a new picture the camera may have a default file name that increments with each picture saved. So you could modify the reference to take that into account but it will take some more coding.

Instead of

Me![Image6].Picture = path & Me![Filename]

Something like:

Me![Image6].Picture = path & PICName & n
'Where n is an incremental number (in a loop).

Just something to think about, I'll give it a go when I get a chance.
