at the beginning, i would say sorry that i posted a question related to outlook in this excel board.
but, it has confused me for a long time and i expect your help sincerely.

the marco & vb editors buttons are active in my mircosoft outlook 2007.
unfortunately, it will make NO any response after i click the button.
btw, i have re-installed office 2007 in my pc but seems no change made.

Excel Facts

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
when you installed office did you make sure that under office shared featured you installed visual basic for applications?you can install that by running the cd again and choose add or remove features/open up office shared features with the +sign /and select visual basic for applications

i remember have checked all shared features while reinstallation.
Btw, i could use Visual basic smoothly in excel 2007 in the same pc.
really weird~

You probably have macros disabled.
Check: File/Options/Trust Center/Trust Center Settings/Macro Settings
It is probably set to 'Disable all macros without notification' which I believe may be the default on installation.
After changing it you will need to close and restart Outlook.

just now i re-installed office 2007 and made sure i checked all " run all from my computer". after re-starting computer, it really disappointed me it is still not fixed. i have set in trust center/marco security to warning for all marcos.

i don't know how to edit my question in the top floor. just want to make an update on this issue.
finally i learned my VB EDITORS has been disabled, maybe it was the default.
outlook/help/disabled items then enable the items you want to use, then it will be ok, thanks all of you. :-)
