Hi there,

I have the following data in one cell in excel that I want to "text to column".
However, even if it looks like spaces between the numbers it is not. If I paste it to word it shows °°°
But even with putting ° in the other box of the text to column wizard it doesn't work.

Any idea ? Thanks.

(PS: Data comes from an html file)

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Are these tab characters? Non-breaking spaces? Can you paste the actual input here?

What does this formula return
Excel Formula:
=CODE(MID(A1,4,1))

It might be worth swapping that for, especially if the above returns 63.
Excel Formula:
=UNICODE(MID(A1,4,1))

Thanks, I need each figure in a separate column and can't use MID or LAST, etc as figures are changing everyday. And this will be a daily task.

Ok, how about
Excel Formula:
=TEXTSPLIT(A1,CHAR(160),,1)

Ok, how about
Excel Formula:
=TEXTSPLIT(A1,CHAR(160),,1)
 (y)Better, now returns each "part" in a different column. Never seens this function before.
Now I think I must convert them to numbers, right ?
