Hi,
I am trying to paste into a table already in existance in a spreadsheet.
When I paste special values or just paste. The data does not come over. I see the paste area highlighted but there is no data in it. The table is expanded enough and even if I just try to copy and paste the last record in the table to the next line it doesn't show up, any ideas why?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
I can't explain why but I've had that recently. I can't even see it as being a 'feature' of Excel it was just a plain old bug.

At one stage it started pasting the 3rd-last columns but offset into the first column and the first two columns to be pasted just vanished. At which point I reverted to this 'workaround' - copying the table data and additional data then creating a new table, and replacing all references in the workbook from the old table to the new one with Control H with the workbook option. Bit of a sledgehammer solution but it's all I could do. Tried saving and exiting Excel, restarting the PC, no joy.
