Im trying to do a formula that displays the result of 18/12/17 and Receipts then return the value in the second column (i.e. $) or return the value in 3rd column (i.e. £) etc.
or
if its 19/12/17 and Other then return the value in the second column (i.e. $) or return the value in 3rd column (i.e. £) etc.

I just cant get my head round it on what sort of formula to use. not sure if an OFFSET type is required. any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have lots of periods for this, this is just 2 dates as an example, but the info to look up - headings and rows stay the same no matter what the date.
