I am trying to make wholesale changes to a sheet but Can't Find & Replace As Error Comes Up Saying Protected Sheet. It is not protected as it is a brand new worksheet. I think it may have to do with wanting to change commas for / etc. Any way around this please?

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
If you are getting an error that the sheet is protected, then it probably is.
Check that the macro is working on the sheet you think it is, & that that sheet is not protetced

As I said it's a brand new workbook so how can the data be protected, plus I have no macro on it.

Using Ctrl H to replace , with / shouldn't give you a message about the sheet being protected.
Can you use Ctrl h in other sheets in that workbook?
