I have been getting this error message "Can't find project or library" on a couple .xlsm files within the past couple weeks. It is deadly. I can't do any of the recommended "fixes" that Microsoft suggests, fix an add-in in the VBA editor that is "missing". The file is basically corrupt. All I can do is go back to a backup and try to figure out what I am missing. Very frustrating. Anyone have any suggestions? The files have been stored both on SharePoint and on a network drive.

Have you tried this?
1 Goto Tools>References...
2 Note anything that's marked as MISSING then uncheck it.
3 Save and close the file(s)- may as well shut down Excel as well.
4 Re-open the file(s).
5 Try the code again.
