Can't Edit or Delete

Hi,
I would like to delete a post and the FAQ tells me to choose the edit button in order to do that. I can't even SEE an edit button much less choose it. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Once I posted this particular message I could see an edit button right next to the quote button - but that edit function doesn't show up on any of my posts on the question board.
 
You have a 10 minute window after posting in which you can edit a post. I believe that you can also delete the post in that time, if no one else has replied since.

Outside of that, you can click on the Report button to report a post to a Moderator if it requires any attention.
