no cells have data validation and definitely no named ranges or formulas refer to the file...no data connections to external sources either
the file is pointed towards c:\user\loginname\appdata.....\temporary internet files
when i try to break the link, gives me the typical warning, click ok to break, but the link still stays there. operationally, the file still works fine, but it's still very annoying
