Cannot use Calendar Control for Excel 2007

I am trying to get a calendar control to work on a UserForm, but I can't even find it under other controls. I am using excel 2007 and Windows 7. I have tried using the MSCAL.OSX file, but can't seem to get that to work either. I am open to suggestions about what is the best way to go as far as a date picker so if something is better let me know, but for right now I am stuck. Any suggestions? I would also like to be able to use it on the sheet if possible.

I followed the above thread, but it said that the module "MSCAL.OCX" failed to load, and to debug it for problems..? So I am not sure how to proceed.

Try downloading another copy - the 2003 version works with Excel 2007.

An alternative would be to use sheet code that provides a pop-up calendar that travels with the sheet so there's no uncertainty about whether it will work on another computer or another version of Excel. See: VBA Express : Excel - Userform Calendar Control
