cannot run the macro "funcres.xlam'!After_Workbook_Open'.

I just installed VBA Analysis ToolPak for Applications on Excel 2013. Install seemed successful. Now, however, when opening Excel, I get the following error dialogue box:

"Cannot run the macro "funcres.xlam'!After_Workbook_Open'. The macro may not be available in this workbook or all macros may be disable."

I have since enable all macros from File > Options > Trust Settings, etc..., though this has not resolved the error.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
As far as I know Analysis ToolPak Functions are already available in Excel 2013 and don't need installing. Looking at the workbook events in FUNCRES.xlam they are empty.

Could you explain what your first sentence here has to do with my problem?

I have no idea what you mean in your second sentence.

Thanks!

1. Analysis ToolPak should be automatically installed.

2. Looking at the code in the addin there is no event code in the WorkBook module.

Finding the Analysis ToolPak Add-In (Microsoft Excel)

royUK:

Not trying to be difficult here, I just simply have no idea what 2. means. Let's take this step by step:

"Looking at the code in the addin" What code? Source code? A numerical or hexadecimal code? What code?

"There is no event code in the WorkBook module" What does this mean?

Also, I have already read Allen Wyatt's article.

I simply opened funcres.xlam to see what the code might be doing, but there is actually no code in the event that you mentioned.

I can't understand what you did when you installed it, you shouldn't need to. Try removing it from you active addins (Developer Tab - Addins) and see if the problem continues. I have Analysis TolPak listed but don't have any problems.
