Hi,
Sorry if this sounds scatty, I don't really know how to build in Access.
I have 3 Tables.
1st Table: Item Types (contains Item_Type_ID and Item_Type)
2nd Table: Items (contains Item linked to Item_Type_ID)
an e.g. of an item type wculd be 'Stationary' and an item e.g. could be 'Pencil'.
3rd Table: Sales (contains both Item_Type & Item)
The idea is to have a table where all item types are created, and the items created to represent items within the item_types.
I want to be able to select in sales an item-type from a list box, and then in the next field list all items within that specific item_type, also to be selected from a list box.
Can anyone please suggest how this might be done?
Thanks,
Jon
