Hello,

I am developing an add in, and noticed that for some odd reason it causes some user's Excel to crash whenever they try to right click -> format cell. I've seen a few posts on how to solve this problem, most involve starting excel in safe mode then disabling the add in, but does anyone have an idea as to how to keep the add in but get rid of this behavior?

Thanks

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
It might help if you posted the code for the Addin.

I have no problem doing that, but it's a private project which would require me to edit a few things before posting it. Are there any red flags or things I should be on the lookout for, so that I can narrow down some of the code?

Not really from the vague info you have given. Just stating that that there is an Addin and it is causing crashes when trying to format the cell doesn't really give anything to go on.
