I have recently deleted a file and every time I open Excel I get the error message "Sorry, we couldn't fine C:\Users etc etc
Can anyone advise how to correct this? I am using Excel 2016, many thanks

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
"Every time I open Excel"

So NOT clicking on an Excel file or shortcut to an Excel file, simply opening the Excel program directly?

You need to specify clearly what "etc etc" is.
It displays that message for a reason.

And what file did you delete - an add-in, or a workbook, or some other kind?

The etc. etc. is just the remainder of the file path
Start up refers to when I open the Excel program not just a folder or file

Then you need to uninstall it through the add-ins dialog.
