Cannot assign hyperlinks in a cell

Hello,

I uninstalled, Microsoft Office and reinstalled. Still cannot assign a hyperlink to a cell. I cleaned my PC of any Microsoft Office file (used the cleanup Office Microsoft utility) still have the same problem.

right click, add hyperlink, and press return. right click again and it's blank.

When you hover the mouse over the cell, does the link show up?
