I have a hydraulic model and pricing spreadsheet that pulls across pipework prices from a different spreadsheet.
The folder that the pipework prices spreadsheet was saved in has been deleted and can't be found unfortunately. This happened during a server upgrade around 6 months ago.

Even though I cannot find the folder or spreadsheet the modeller and pricing spreadsheet is still pulling across the correct data from the file.

In the name manager it lists \\rio-sbs2011\datadrive\1 Scanned Documents\2 Documents\8 Wayne\Spreadsheets\Pipework Pricing.xlsx which appears to be a life link. However I cannot find this spreadsheet anywhere.

It uses a IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP code to obtain the data from a named range (as the above folder address). It points to the Pipework Pricing.xlsx spreadsheet and matches descriptions.
If I can't find this spreadsheet or folder address how am I pulling relevant data from it?

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Maybe in the 'upgrade' you lost your permissions on the file that you can't find (thus you cannot navigate to it) but the workbook uses other permissions. Perhaps a connection is made via VBA code that works around your lack of permissions. Try asking a network admin to locate the file using that path? Or the upgrade changed the file attribute to 'hidden' ?
