I cleared everything from my PDA and re-installed the software, so I went thru the messages in my 'PDA' folder in Outlook Express to get all of the registration codes. There are only about 15 or 20 messages in the folder, so you can't miss something.
I went thru the messages 3 times before trying a search for a particular message to find a certain reg code. The search found the message -- in the same PDA folder that I had just checked 3 times. I looked through each message one by one again, and couldn't find that message.
My only guess here is that when I let Outlook compress my mail when it asked, it caused this issue where I can only bring up some messages by running a search. I can't remember everything I had installed on my PDA so that makes it impossible to run a search for each message to make sure I have all the reg codes and all programs re-installed. I need to see all of the messages in my folder and look them over one by one. How can I un-compress my messages? Or could this be caused by something else?
