Hi, my client asks me to display data in Powerpoint and asks me to 'adorn' different datapoints with red/green/yellow arrows, and circles, depending upon how the most recent data fared against 2 prior time periods.
I'm hoping to prep the data in Excel first and automatically assign a shape based on the criteria below, then just paste the image into Powerpoint.

CRITERIA:
If the latest 4 weeks of data is
> 1% better
Within 1 % point, or
< -1% (i.e. worse) compared to the latest QUARTER's data, then we use the first 3 shapes.

Then when we do the same comparing versus last year's data, we use the bottom 3 shapes.

Before I share sample data in Excel, is something like this even possible? Thanks, Mike

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

This from Leila Gharani will give you some ideas.

She uses symbols using the Wingdings 2 font with conditional formatting to change the colours.

You can use Conditional Formatting/Icon Sets, which has icons similar to your sample. If you need help with Conditional Formatting, the prior response has a great video or there are other examples on YouTube. OR you can request here regarding setting a conditional formatting up with icons.
