Is there additional things you need to do other than set these two to Yes? My field does not change size.

It an unbound field on a form with a concatenated formula in it.

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
You'll have to elaborate. What view are you talking about and what is the behavior? It doesn't grow/shrink in design mode if that's what you're thinking. Only in form view, and only vertically IIRC. The expression in a calculated control has no bearing on this - only the result of the expression.

AFAIK, the can grow/can shrink properties only work when you print or print preview.

It is possible to print a form. That is why on a form you see the can grow and can shrink properties. It should work when you print he form.
