Hi All,

Quick question. I have about 70 different tables in different locations, and have to manually add it one by one and and then append the queries. I've tested it with 10 files and it works fine, however I'm bit worried that it could cause a major problems in future if there is some connectivity issues etc. Does anyone have any experience in doing anything similar?

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
So far I can tell from experience, not based on documentation...
I can imagine the available memory of your laptop may be an issue, depending on the number data it needs to process in those queries. The number of queries as such is not an issue.
However it does not sound like an optimal solution if you need to append 70 queries. Can't the files be stored in a common folder somehow (SharePoint or OneDrive)? Then appending 70 files is a breeze. As it needs only 1 query and thus only 1 connection.

This is the exact problem. We have private channels on MS Teams where the Excel files are updated on weekly basis, now because they are on private channels they are also in different SharePoint locations to which you can not get root access, so you have to map them individually. The only way to be able to get them all in root Sharepoint is to make the channels public, but my manager wants them private, so only specific people can access the specific files. Hope it makes sense. Do you have any idea how to go around it ?

I'm not not a MS Teams expert I'm afraid.
I would go for private channels in a common public team, and allow you to access all.
