Hi Everyone,
One day excel scripts will be useful, I hope, but everytime I come back to it I'm left wondering when.
I looked today and noticed some nice new features like add a button to run.

so can anyone tell me, is it possible to get a script to run from a cell change?

if it is could some give me an example,

any example will do but what I'm trying to do is put the date and time into Column D same row when data is added to column E

please help if you can

P.s. this is for excel scripts not VBA!

Thanks

Tony

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
There aren't Worksheet_change events in Office Scripts like there are in VBA. You can utilize Power Automate to run every 30 minutes/every hour, or run every time the worksheet is updated/changed but it wouldn't realistically figure out what was changed. Excel Online has an ability to Track Changes, but Office Scripts and Power Automate aren't able to get the Track Changes information.
