Is it possible with Access to query several databases at once?

We have an app running SQL Server 6.5 with 5 databases on it but they are all related and linked via a proprietory software front end. I've got loads of our own queries in an Access 2000 front end form, but on one report I need to query 2 of them together.

Many thanks

Matt

Hi Matt

Yes indeed, Access can run queries accross databases. As with SQL Server, just use the IN statement with fully qualified file paths to find data in other databases. You can also use ODBC connections and even "Direct Table Reference", i.e.

Code:
SELECT field1, field2 FROM [dbase III;Database=C:\Data\File1].NewStuff INNER JOIN [Paradox 5.x;Database=D:\Data2\File5].Custoner ON NewStuff.CustomerId = Customer.CustomerId

Any help??
